The Institute is home to the Arnold P. Goldstein Memorial Library featuring more than 3,500 specialty titles from the personal collection of the internationally recognized expert on non-violent conflict resolution and author of more than 50 books including the Skillstreaming series. The library is open to the public for research and meetings.

Can I check materials out of the library?


  • BICA's Goldstein Memorial Library is not a lending library. You are welcome to use the materials in the library, but due to the historical nature of many out-of-print items, materials are not permitted to be checked out.


What are the library hours?


  • In general, the library is open to the public during BICA office hours (Monday - Friday, 9:30 am-5:30 pm and weekends and evenings by chance or by appointment) However, please call ahead (651-484-5510) to make sure the library is available and not reserved for a meeting or training.
