Workshop Overview
Workshops are designed to teach
participants an immediate, hands on, practical format to use with children
and adolescents to help them manage their emotions and behaviors. Feelings
and learned coping mechanisms underlie the inappropriate school behaviors of
elementary aged children, and the high risk activities including sexual
acting out, chemical usage and gambling behaviors of adolescents.
Participants will learn a sequenced way to address the necessary steps
involved in affecting positive behavior change. Each participant will
receive a copy of the
curriculum/book appropriate for the age level of the children they work
