The author of SOS Help for Emotions and the SOS parenting program is Dr. Lynn Clark, a clinical psychologist who lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  He is a Professor of Psychology at Western Kentucky University and manages Parents Press, a publisher of self-help programs.

SOS Help For Parents is a book and parent education program which helps children, ages two to twelve, to improve their behavior and emotional adjustment.  It is internationally used and recommended by psychologists, pediatricians, teachers, and other professionals as well as parents.  The book teaches over 20 methods for helping children and offers the most complete instructions available for using time-out.

SOS Help For Emotions: Managing Anxiety, Anger, And Depression is a self-help program.  By understanding and applying this program, you can enhance your emotional intelligence and learn useful self-help methods from cognitive behavior therapy.  You can also gain insights for changing your thoughts and feelings, and for becoming more successful in attaining your goals. (It's not a parenting book.)
