Building Productive Relationships and Improving Existing Relationships Through Mentoring, Effective Communication and Collaboration

For children and adolescents to be successful, the adults working with them need to have the expertise to develop and foster positive and productive relationships with them and with the other adults working with them. This advanced seminar will focus on building productive relationships with youth as well as with the other members of the team. It will also concentrate on ways to improve existing relationships. Mentoring others on the team will be included during this seminar, as well as effective communication and collaboration skills. Educational staff, social workers, community resource people, and others interested in developing skills to use when building and improving relationships should attend this seminar.
